The first thing Ron had to do was identify the stock that had been sitting there for more than 2 year. This was easily achieved by using the reports in the stock module.

This stock has finally been moved, to make way for current stock.

By identifying the fast moving items and product groups, Ron is now able to expand on the range of certain product groups, to enhance turnover.

As he has found, product that sells well in other stores around New Zealand, and even within Auckland, doesn't necessarily sell well in his shop, hence the need to analyse the sales and stock in his own database.

Doing regular rolling stock takes and using the "reorder suggestions report" facilities, Ron is able to keep track of day-to-day events even when leaving the shop in the hands of his staff.

Ron has worked with Software Toolhouse during the development of the Windows version of the software both in the testing of the product and further development of new features not found in the original DOS program.

His efforts and patience has been much appreciated.
